Claire Keegan grew up on a farm in Ireland. Her stories have been translated into over 20 languages, and The Times named her novel Foster as one of the 50 best novels of the 21st century. Small Things Like These (2020) was shortlisted for the Booker prize and was turned into a movie starring Cillian Murphy.
