Week 5: Sara Baume

Sara Baume is already widely recognised as one of the most original and exciting voices in twenty-first century Irish literature. She has won numerous literary awards for her four fictional and autofictional narratives. Her debut novel, Spill Simmer Falter Wither (2015), tells the harrowing tale of a lonely man who seeks solace in nature, literature and, above all, in his friendship with a one-eyed dog, with whom he embarks on a road trip.

The lucky winners are: Marina Tchiri, Emma Rödel, Tabea Tenhofen, and Carina Lorenz.
