Lisa McInerney is an award-winning Irish writer whose work explores class, crime and modern Ireland with wit and dark humour. Her debut novel, The Glorious Heresies, won the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction and the Desmond Elliott Prize in 2016. Set in Cork, it follows a cast of misfits as they navigate the city's criminal underworld.
