Week 4: Eimear McBride

Eimar McBride is an Irish novelist who is widely celebrated for her experimental prose. Her first novel, A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing (2013), employs a stream-of-consciousness technique to immerse readers in the turbulent inner world of the unnamed female protagonist. The narrator's voice is fragmented, omitting punctuation and reversing letters and capitals as she recounts her traumatic experiences to her brother.

The lucky winners are: Sophia Lenz, Maren Bernard, Arkadiusz Ankowski, and Kim Kathrin Terlau
