Week 13: Anne Enright

Anne Enright has published 12 books, including novels, short story collections and a memoir. Her novel The Gathering won the Booker Prize in 2007. Like many of her previous novels, her latest, The Wren, the Wren (2023), carefully examines the mechanisms that govern family relationships as the daughter and granddaughter of the fictional Irish poet Phil McDarragh must come to terms with his failures as a husband and father and with his troubling poetic legacy.

The lucky winners are: Robin Marja Mittwollen, Natalie Bußler, Sude Naz Aktas, and Louis Firlus.
